A NURSERY IN A ONE BED APARTMENT

This couple came to us with a challenge: "Can you fit a nursery in a one-bed apartment and maintain storage?"  

The clients brief had two important points to consider: 

1. Baby needs to have their own space

2. Adults need to have storage

With that in mind, we designed a storage solution for:

the headboard, the bed (under base), and above the door (out of sight and so convenient)

For baby, we designed a little corner (using the nitch created by the old chimney) 

This space was perfect for storage, shelves, and a mini crib. We included a light curtain in our first option and a room divider (soft industrial look) in our second option. Also, a folding table was installed above the heater, maximising space, for nappy-change time. Parents were thrilled with the visualisation, and can now focus on more important things.
